True Grit Art Gallery is excited to present The Collage Collective, a vibrant group exhibition curated by Plymouth artist Lorraine Agri, featuring the work of Lorraine Agri, Mary Jo Beswick, Nora Cannon, and Helene Zaniboni.

In 2025, Lorraine Agri began seeking out other self-motivated artists to form a small, supportive creative community. Her intention was for the group to meet regularly in her home studio to share their knowledge, exchange ideas, and—most importantly—stretch themselves as artists. Although each artist brought a different point of view, they soon discovered a shared passion and common calling for the art form of collage. This exhibition offers a wonderful glimpse into their collective work, showcasing a rich and varied selection of collages created together.

About the Artists

  • Lorraine Agri is an intuitive artist who works in a variety of mediums. She creates collages inspired by nature, focusing on the interplay of composition, shape, color, and texture. Her work translates the natural world into abstract forms, revealing new visual harmonies.
  • Mary Jo Beswick creates work that celebrates life and the power of possibilities. Internally driven and often whimsical, she is a shape maker who likes to play with the visual interactions of line, shape, and color, discovering personal symbols and deeper meaning while in the flow of the creative process.
  • Nora Cannon crafts collages that tell visual stories. Every placement of paper, mark-making, or brushstroke contributes to a dialogue, with the goal of creating meaningful space for the viewer to connect with her storytelling or discover their own.
  • Helene Zaniboni draws inspiration from scouring old bookstores and thrift shops. She incorporates found objects, old books, and magazines into her collages and assemblages, often embellishing them with mark-making and text. Her inspiration comes from the world around her.

We warmly invite you to join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, June 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. On this day, the gallery will be closed during regular business hours and will open exclusively for the reception from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

True Grit Art Gallery is honored to present Moments of Life, a new solo exhibition by award-winning, internationally renowned painter Tatiana Roulin.

For this deeply personal body of work, Tatiana reflects on the power of art as both a celebration of life and an antidote to hardship. In her own words:

The creative act is a huge part in how we extinguish and put out fires of negativity in this world… Through creating things we can heal ourselves and others. It’s an antidote to our and other people’s pain.—T.R.

Inspired by places and states of nature that touched her heart, these paintings capture fleeting, meaningful moments that connect us to our shared humanity. With her signature sensitivity and luminous technique, Tatiana invites viewers to slow down, feel deeply, and recognize the beauty in the everyday.

About the Artist

Tatiana Roulin is an award-winning, internationally renowned representational painter who has been working in New England as a full-time artist for the past 20 years.
