Poetic Visions 2025: Opening and Closing Receptions

This year, we’ve selected five inspiring poems from over 60 submissions by talented Southern New England poets, each paired with original artworks created by 60 visual artists through a random lottery process. Opening Reception

Highlights: Experience the premiere of Poetic Visions 2025, where the five selected poets will perform live readings of their poems between 6:45 and 7:15 PM. Meet the artists, poets, and our creative community while enjoying the stunning artworks inspired by the chosen poems. This is a perfect evening to immerse yourself in the powerful connection between words and visuals.
Closing Reception
Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Time: 2:00–5:00 PM
Highlights: Celebrate the culmination of Poetic Visions 2025 with an open reading event! All poets who submitted to the exhibition are invited to share one of their submitted poems, creating a vibrant showcase of local poetic talent. Connect with artists, poets, and attendees as we reflect on the exhibition’s impact and discuss future collaborations.
Both events are free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the creative voices of Southeastern Massachusetts and Southern New England. The Poetic Visions 2025 exhibition will run from September 13 to September 27, 2025, at True Grit Art Gallery.
