"My name is Jennifer Johnson. I am a self-taught photographer who has taken photographs since childhood, for over 40 years. I have shown work in Boston area shows at Out of the Blue Gallery and at home.stead. I am currently using my cell phone to take photographs.
The photographs I am submitting are from a series of macros I am taking of flowers and plants. Through macro photography, I discover the universe in a single plant. A plant may be so small we barely notice it with our eye. What to our eye may be just a smudge of color, in detail reveals its intricacy and mystery."
