One of my favorite phenomenon in nature is watching starlings in murmuration. They are so close, working as one unit, and are so free. All things people are lacking right now.
Annmarie Sherrick is an artist who resides in Lakeville, MA. She earned her undergraduate degree at Massachusetts College of Art and her Masters from Lesley University. She has worked in many mediums including mixed media, acrylics, watercolors and most recently has revisited her love of sculpture. She enjoys painting commissioned illustrative portraits of children in fantastical settings, but as of late she has concentrated on landscapes that emphasize the contrast between the simplicity of man made structures and the expanse of the natural world that surround them. Annmarie has taught art in the Brockton Public Schools for 23 years and attributes much of her creative energy to the inspiration of her students.
