I have been working as a fulltime artist for five years since retiring from teaching. I enjoy working in various mediums, that includes watercolor, acrylics and alcohol inks. My work is inspired by the natural environment and I use photos I’ve taken and memories from being outdoors in nature in my works.
This piece I started during this Covid virus shut in. As a high risk person, I couldn’t leave my home so I found solace in painting.
Tree of Life is painted all in acrylic dotting technique. It reminds me that life is out there, waiting for this virus to run its course. I became absorbed in creating this piece and worry became non-existent for me.
