Kathleen Dunn
Residing on the South Shore of Massachusetts, I am a graduate of the University of Mass in Boston and studied at the Mass College of Art and at Castle Hill/Truro Center for the Arts. My work has been exhibited at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Arlington Center for the Arts, the Marion Art Center, the Post Office Gallery in North Truro, and at Artworks! in New Bedford. Artist-in-residencies in the historic dune shacks in the Cape Cod National Seashore and the local coastal environment influence my choice of subject matter.
Statement:
I have been concentrating on hope; hope for recovery, acceptance, and healing during this time. Seeing springtime emerge reinforced my tendency to turn to nature to cope as seeing the seasons change reminds us that life will continue in its many forms.
