Unclear Landscape #6 was made during the Covid-19 shut down. It was created from my memory of the beach as it was shut down to visitors. Using sand from my family homestead in the fresco plaster gives me a strong connection to the piece. Glazing and Scumbling locally sourced encaustic wax over the fresco adds a textural and slightly chaotic element indicative of the times.
