I am a self-taught artist living in Middleborough with my wife and three children. For the past few years, I have found my niche in pop surrealism and continuing my passion for illustration. My work starts and ends with the pen—what happens in between is where I am most comfortable, where Art mends with poetry (my other passion).
This piece was inspired by 'The Last Dance', a ten part documentary chronicling the career of Michael Jordan juxtaposed with the 1998 World Champion Chicago Bulls, Jordan’s last year with the team. As America lamented the loss of sports during the quarantine, many sports fans (like myself) were thirsting for athletics in any form and this documentary had many glued every Sunday night for five weeks to escape the cloud of the pandemic. This piece is my visual poem to the GOAT.
