Covidian Time
The quarantine meant my photography would have to be done close to home and it was a struggle to keep working and find inspiration.
I discovered that the Sweet Gum tree in my front yard started dropping seedpods that reminded me of the illustrations of the Coronavirus I'd seen on television. For me they became a visual metaphor for the virus and I began this series of compositions that eanbled me to feel as though I had some control over what I was experiencing.
