I am a landscape photographer on Cape Cod, and the kind of seclusion which has been a stressor for many since CoVid began has pretty much left me untouched. I live alone, and my naturally introverted inclinations fit the current situation. But all the same I have found myself turning inward, and one aspect of that has been an increased attention to my vegetable garden this year.
For quite a few years I have planted garlic but this year I planted onions also. It is normal to clip the scapes from the onions so that they will invest their energy in growing big bulbs. I let two get away from me.
